While I was fully capable of teaching and assisting my daughters with their academics, I was a single mom, working part-time, with so many responsibilities. There
As a homeschool mom, I thought I could do it all, so I tried to. However, looking back I realize I was stretched so thin, I wish I’d had the wisdom to reach out for more help. While I was fully capable of teaching and assisting my daughters with their academics, I was a single mom, working part-time, with so many responsibilities. There’s no doubt that my kids and I would’ve benefited greatly from some extra educational support and accountability. Like me, some parents find that their students need more help with their studies than they can give them during the week, while others find that their kids respond more positively when they are accountable to and working with a Private Tutor. That’s where I come in!

I believe there is so much more to being an effective private tutor than possessing a list of degrees and accomplishments, such as exhibiting a qualities of enthusiasm, positive attitude, patience, understanding, making a connection with the student, and the ability to present material in an understandable way; however, I do have a few credentials under my belt:
